Anderson Public Library Now Offers Lynda.com

The Anderson Public Library is proud to announce a brand new educational service, called Lynda.com, available for free for all members of the library.

Lynda.com hosts over 5,000 on-demand video courses that teaches various subjects to help build new skills for personal or career growth.  Just a small fraction of topics listed include computer skills, accounting, photography, creative design, management, and much, much more.  And, all of the video courses are taught by industry experts.

One of the best features of the service is that the courses are broken into pieces, so users can dedicate almost any amount of time to learning something new each day.  Courses can also be displayed on numerous devices anytime and anywhere, including computers and mobile devices using the dedicated Lynda.com app.

Any member of the library can start using Lynda.com by clicking here and entering your library card number and PIN  If you don’t know your PIN, please call the library at 502-839-6420.  (Up to 10 members of the library can use Lynda.com at any one time.)

To use the Lynda.com app, first download and install it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.  After installing and opening the app, tap on the “Already a Member?” button and then tap on the organization tab.  Under web portal, enter andersonpubliclibrary.org and tap log in.  You’ll then be directed to enter your library card number and PIN.
