Coloring has become a new trend across the country not only for children but also for adults as a great stress relief and to have fun. Anderson Public Library will be joining in on the fun tomorrow, August 2nd, for National Coloring Day.
According to adult librarian, Laurel Sisler, the library will be offering an all day coloring event as a way to start up adult coloring at the library once again. “This is kind of a neat way to kick things off again,” she said.
Past participants in the adult coloring group at the library really enjoyed being able to share and have fun. “It’s just really relaxing to sit down and not have to worry about anything and focus on just coloring,” said Amanda Lindsey during a previous coloring session.
For the coloring event tomorrow, all supplies will be provided by the library along with various styles of coloring books. Participants can join in on the fun at any time tomorrow, and it is open to all ages.
