Join us to play your own part for Virtual Summer Reading 2020! In cooperation with Bright Star Theatre, the first ten families who register below will get to be a part of the recording of their virtual performance for Virtual Summer Reading 2020 at the Anderson Public Library. Bright Star Theatre will be performing the very fun Aesop's Fables.
These fables from the legendary Greek storyteller, Aesop, have been delighting young and old alike for thousands of years, and they still have a message for us today. Perfect for younger audiences, these classic tales entertain but also share a strong message about treating others fairly and knowing right from wrong. Stories like “The Boy Who Cried Wolf,” “The Tortoise and The Hare,” and “The Lion and The Mouse” leave audiences with a message that is both timely, and timeless!
The virtual recording will be held on June 19th at 2:30pm. All registrations must be sent in by June 18th. An internet connection and device with a webcam is required (like a smartphone, tablet, or computer). Zoom Web-conferencing will be used.
By registering, you, as the parent/guardian of the children that will be attending, give Anderson Public Library the absolute right and permission to use your or your child’s photograph(s) in its promotional materials and publicity efforts. You understand that the photograph(s) may be used in publication, print advertising, direct-mail piece, electronic media (e.g., DVD, video, Internet, social media) or other forms of promotion or information. You release Anderson Public Library, its agents, staff and the photographer from liability for any violation of personal or proprietary right you may have in connection with such use.
