The Anderson Public Library would like to thank the Friends of the Anderson Public Library for all the many contributions provided to the library for National Friends of Libraries Week.
From October 21st to 27th, libraries across the nation will be celebrating the work done by each friends of libraries group. Friends groups help provide assistance for their local libraries in a number of ways, many times through used book sales.
The Anderson Public Library’s Friends have greatly helped the library through the years, especially during the recent expansion process to help move the library to and from the temporary location. To celebrate their efforts, they were presented with a poster signed by library staff and board of trustees members, thanking them for all their efforts and donations.
