Many changes have happened in over a year’s time for the library expansion project of the Anderson Public Library. Starting after the library finished moving to its temporary location at the end of September last year, the Main Street location has seen a total renovation and a major 8,000 square foot addition added to the building. Within are brand new meeting rooms, spaces for children’s activities, a maker space, a new Kentucky history room, and so much more.
Most construction activities have finished, and preparation has started to begin moving back into the new space. The new parking lot has been paved, signs have been installed, and everything is getting cleaned. Check back for more updates and for the official day of reopening.
