Summer Reading: Preschoolers

An event every week that begins at 11:00am on Monday and Friday, repeating until July 20, 2018
Join us for a fun, musical themed summer reading program for 2018! Lots of great shows and entertainment provided. Register at the library.
There’s lots of fun programs planned for preschoolers (3 to 5 years old). The following events are planned for every Monday from 11am to Noon during Summer Reading:
June 25th: Take a Tromp Through the Swamp – Acclaimed singer and songwriter, Tom Sieling will create a fun performance for the whole family. Called “Take a Tromp Through the Swamp,” Tom will sing humorous kids’ songs with facts about area animals.
July 2nd: Music and Movement – Kate Smith from the Lawrenceburg Academy of Performing Arts will be performing a music and movement class.
July 9th: The Serious O’ Sillies Co. – Paul O. Kelly of the Serious O’ Sillies Co. will be performing a fun juggling show that promotes self-confidence, problem solving, healthy choices, and life long learning.
July 16th: Music by Demi Mays – Demi is a passionate musician and singer. She will be performing songs from her CD from Growing Sound, titled Dandelion, focusing on shared attention.
On Fridays from 11am to Noon from June 29th to July 20th, Ms Sherry will be holding more fun activities for preschoolers. Free food for lunch for those under 18 that are registered participants of Summer Reading will be provided by the Kentucky Department of Education, Kentucky State University Extension SNAP-Ed Program and the KSU Summer Food Service Program on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
