Music lovers with an Anderson Public Library card will soon have a newly revamped option to download and listen to music for free.
The Freegal Music Service, which offers free streaming and downloading of millions of songs from popular artists, will be launching a completely redesigned service this Wednesday, April 4th. According to Freegal, the revamped service will include a new website and apps for iOS and Android.
The service will be focusing more on curated music across their website and apps. They will have over 100 playlists available at launch and release new ones every week. Their interface will also be redesigned to allow for easier exploration of their 15 million song collection.
The relaunch will start at 12am on April 4th and will take approximately 10 hours to complete. During that time, Freegal will not be accessible. After the relaunch, members of the library will be able to access Freegal using the same credentials as before. Playlists and stored music by members will also be preserved.
Be sure to check out Freegal by clicking here in the coming days as they relaunch.
