Have you been searching your family history but need help? The Anderson Public Library will soon have a genealogist ready to help find the clues to your lineage.
Starting in July, genealogist Annette Fugal will be volunteering at the library to provide family history and genealogy services. Family researchers will get the chance to ask questions on how to dig deeper in one-on-one sessions with Annette.
Annette explained that she has been working with Family Search and Ancestry.com for a long time and has a great interest in her own family history. She decided to volunteer at the library to help bring her expertise and knowledge to others who are utilizing the Anderson County Kentucky History Room.
She will be available at the library starting in July on the 11th from 6-8pm, the 16th from 2-4pm, and the 25th from 6-7:30pm. She will also be at the library in August on the 8th from 6-7:30pm, the 20th from 2-4pm, and the 22nd from 6-7:30pm. Appointments aren’t necessary, but she does encourage researchers to bring their own laptop or tablet.
