Lawrenceburg Painter Displays Work at Library

Visitors to the Anderson Public Library during the month of February will get a chance to view some of the amazing creations of a Lawrenceburg artist and painter.

Linda J Nelson grew up in Wisconsin and lived in other areas of the country before settling on Lawrenceburg.  She travelled the world and through these experiences, her love of learning grew which eventually led her to learn, as a grandmother, painting on canvas.

The collection of artwork at the library includes numerous canvases both within the main display case in the foyer of the parking lot entrance to the library and as well as on the walls leading to the community meeting room and children’s activity room.  She also created a number of fun pencil holders that are on display within the smaller display case in the foyer.

The collection will be on display at the library through February 26th.
