For the month of July, adults in Anderson County have lots of interesting programs to attend at the Anderson Public Library. A number of new programs have been added for entertainment and education. Check out some of the new programs below:
Classic Movie Club: Do you like watching classic movies? Head to the library to watch a classic movie with fellow movie buffs and learn the history behind the film.
Jane Austen Movie Screening: Watch a Jane Austen movie and enjoy tea and refreshments here at the library.
Fun with Board Games: Join other classic board game enthusiasts with some friendly competition! Free refreshments provided.
Computer Help: Learn the basics and more about using a computer and the internet. A new series of classes is now offered every Friday afternoon.
Serial Podcast: Serial is an investigative journalism podcast hosted by Sarah Koenig, narrating a nonfiction story over multiple episodes. Join us at the library to listen along.
Charcoal Drawing: For all those inspiring to learn to draw, local artist Victoria Coots will teach you how to draw with charcoal.
Keepsake Notebook Craft: This is the perfect class for anyone wanting to learn scrapbooks and journaling. This program is free and supplies are provided.
DIY Spa Day: Make a spa at home! Learn how to make your own skin and hair products at this special two hour class.
