Library Offers New Home Improvement Database Class

Spring has finally arrived and it’s that time of the year for lots of different home improvement projects.  If you’re thinking of tackling some of them yourself but need to brush up on some knowledge, stop by at the Anderson Public Library to learn about all the different home improvement databases available to members of the library.

For the first in a series of classes on different online databases, adults librarian Laurel Sisler will be talking about various home improvement databases and websites offered online through the library. Every Wednesday from 11am to Noon in April, members will get to know where they can look for help with home improvement topics.

Some of the databases and sites that she will be covering include EBSCO Home Improvement, Ask the Builder, Family Handyman, Repair Manuals, and Home Time.  The sites cover a very wide array of different topics to help anyone needing to know how to repair or build just about anything for their home.
