Library Wishes Farewell to Director, Welcomes New Director

The Anderson Public Library would like to wish library director Pam Marks a very happy retirement after an 18 year career. Today, marking her last day at the library, Pam wished everyone farewell: “It’s been my great pleasure to work with an amazing library board and staff. Their dedication to serving Anderson County helps to make our library a vital part of this community. Thanks and I will miss you all!”
Joining the library staff as the new director is Amber Dickens. Addressing the community, Amber said: “APL has long been an essential part of the Anderson County community. As an Anderson County resident and library advocate, I am thrilled to be named Anderson Public Library’s new director. I look forward to working closely with the community for many years to come.”
