The Anderson Public Library is pleased to partner with the Anderson County Arts Council in the first of many local art displays at the library.
The first artist to be featured at the library is Terese Webb. As a photographer, Terese started working with cameras at 16 years old when she took a photography class in an art museum in Dayton, Ohio.
For the display which she has titled “Living Proof,” Terese has focused her work on many Kentucky landscapes and rural shots. “They have always touched my heart,” Terese explained.
Visitors to the library can enjoy seeing her work in the display case when entering the building from the parking lot entrance. More of her work is also on display on the walls leading towards the community meeting room and children’s activity room. The prints will be on display until June 25th.
The Anderson County Arts Council and Terese will also be holding a special reception this Thursday, May 30th, from 4:30pm – 6pm.
