Recently, the Anderson Public Library launched a brand new mobile printing service to allow those needing to print the ability to print anywhere with an internet connection and pick up the prints at the library. Called Mobile Printing, the service lets users to email or upload documents and then retrieve the prints at the library.
The library is now pleased to announce an additional way to send documents from your mobile device. Using the free PrinterOn app for iOS or Android, available below at the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, documents can be uploaded to the printing service directly from the app.
After installing the app on your mobile device, all that is needed to use the library’s printing service is to tap on the “No Printer Selected” button at the bottom of the screen. Then tap on the “Location” tab which shows an easy to use map to find the library’s mobile printer. After tapping on the printer icon above the library’s Main Street location, tap on the info icon to show the black and white and color printers. Once you choose one printer, you are now ready to start uploading.
After uploading, documents can be retrieved at the library at any time when the library is open. After paying for the printing, which is 15 cents per page for black and white and 50 cents per page for color, the documents will be printed. For more information about mobile printing, click here.
