The Anderson Public Library is proud to announce a brand new way for children to look up books. The new children’s catalog page features a kid friendly system where they can search by topics represented by fun graphics.
When a child clicks on the topic, the catalog then lists all available children’s items, including books and DVDs, about the particular topic. Children can browse through the results to find what interests them.
“I think it’s a great addition to our catalog because it is specifically for kids and parents. It’s user friendly,” said Sherry Noon, Youth and Family Services Manager at the library.
The new catalog system can be accessed through the Children’s Page or can be accessed here. In addition to the new system, all children’s items are still accessible through the main catalog page where library members have full access to their accounts.
