The Anderson Public Library is pleased to announce that, through a partnership with the Kentucky Department of Libraries and Archives and the Kentucky Virtual Library, library members can now access Ancestry.com for free from the library to further help with genealogy research.
Called Ancestry Library Edition, the new service brings over 7,000 genealogy databases. The service will give access to censuses, vital records, immigration records, family histories, military records, court and legal documents, directories, photos, maps and more.
To utilize Ancestry Library Edition, library members must be physically at the library. They can then utilize any public computer or the library’s wifi to access this link.
