Anderson Public Library offers a number of meeting rooms available to members of the library to use for community interest events. Meeting rooms are equipped with technology and various forms of accommodations. Requests to use the meeting rooms must be made at least 24 hours before the start of the reservation and before 4pm on Friday for reservations on weekends. Reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis with library sponsored events taking priority. You can request a room reservation below. You will receive a confirmation message from the library if your request is approved.
A valid Anderson Public Library card that is in good standing is required to reserve rooms.
The Anderson Public Library's conference room is the perfect place for small meetings. A large conference table, office seating, and a television with audio and visual hookups are available. This meeting room requires a meeting minimum of two people up to a maximum of 10 people.
Meeting Room A
This room is not yet available to be reserved. The Anderson Public Library's Meeting Room A is intended for medium sized meetings. Multiple tables with chairs are available, along with a projector screen and television with A/V hookups. This meeting room requires a meeting minimum of ten people up to a maximum of 32 people.

The Anderson Public Library's Meeting Room B is great for medium to large sized meetings. Multiple tables with chairs are available, along with a kitchenette and television with A/V hookups. This meeting room requires a meeting minimum of ten people up to a maximum of 64 people.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I begin my meeting before the Library opens or end it after the Library is closed?
No. All meetings must be held during regular operating hours and must end 30 minutes before the close of the library.
Can I bring food to my meeting?
Food and drink in the meeting rooms is allowed. However, cleanup must be done or the library may assess a $75 cleaning fee to the reserver's library card. Additional charges will be added for any damages.
Can I have a wedding or baby shower in the library?
No. Celebratory events are prohibited in the library.
Can I reserve a room for a study group?
Two study rooms are available to use at the library. Study rooms cannot be scheduled in advance and their reservation must be in person.
Can I sell products or charge people to come to a training?
No. All meetings held at the library must be free, and the sale of goods and services are prohibited.
Do I have to pay to use a meeting room?
No, but we do assess a $75 fee if the room needs to be cleaned after its use.
How do I reserve a room?
Library meeting rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis. Rooms may be reserved up to 90 days in advance and must be made at least 24 hours before or before 4pm on Friday for weekend reservations.
Use of the room will be confirmed when official confirmation is received by the meeting organizer. Confirmation will be sent to the meeting organizer within 24 hours of receipt or on the next business day.
Telephone reservations can be made over the phone by calling (502) 839-6420 on weekdays from 9am-5pm. However, to take advantage of all the features of our room reservation system, it would be best to make your reservation online.
How far in advance can I reserve a meeting room?
Reservations are accepted inside a 90-day window.
How often can I use a Library meeting room?
You may use Library meeting rooms once per week unless approved by the library director.
I want to make a reservation online, but I can't select the right date. What is wrong?
Online reservations should be made at least 24 hours prior to the meeting, except at the discretion of the library director based on availability. The meeting room procedure also limits how far in advance you may use the meeting room. If you are attempting to reserve a room for a day more than 90 days in the future, the system will not allow you reserve time on those days.
May I hang things on meeting room walls?
No items are allowed to be hung on the walls, doors, etc.
