Staff and Board Members Read to Kids During Lighting Event

A number of Anderson Public Library staff and members of the library’s board of trustees were invited to read children’s Christmas stories during last night’s Light Up Lawrenceburg event downtown.

The event, which celebrates turning on all of the holiday lights on Main Street, attracted many hundreds of participants, including many children.  Stationed in a number of downtown businesses were staff and board members who read a selection of holiday books to the children.

Director of the library, Pam Marks, explained that everyone had lots of fun, and the library will be planning to do something special for next year’s event.
