Join us for a new set of free Yoga classes at the Anderson Public Library! The library will again be hosting Yoga classes during the month of January.
Two certified Yoga instructors will be leading the series of classes. Chelsea Agee, who lead the previous set of classes, will be returning in January to again teach Yoga for Health, Chair Yoga, and Mommy and Me Yoga classes. The Yoga for Health class is a traditional Yoga class, while Chair Yoga is perfect for those with limited mobility, and the Mommy and Me Yoga is great for parents with young children.
Jenny Howard Owen will be leading a weekday morning Yoga class. Jenny, who is a Certified and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) since 2012, focuses her classes on breathing, safety in alignment, and pose variations for all participants. This one hour class will offer a practice of strengthening, stretching and relaxing. Beginners are welcome.
All Yoga classes are free to attend but do require to bring your own Yoga mats and blocks if desired. To see a full list of class times and to register, click here.
