Level Up at Your Library! encourages leisure reading and provides opportunities for fun, hands-on learning, enrichment, creative expression, and entertainment in an informal setting.

Weekly Programs
Family Events/Programs – Wednesdays at 10:30am*. Guest performers/presenters -or- family activities by library staff. For all ages. (*Note exceptions on June 16th & July 31st)
Toddler Storytime – Stories, songs, & activities for ages 1-3, every Tuesday at 10am
Preschool Storytime – Stories, songs, & activities for ages 3-5, every Tuesday at 11am
Next Level Learners – Grades 1-6, fun hands-on activities every Monday at 10:30am
Teen Events – Programs for kids in grades 7-12 each week, Wednesday afternoons at 2pm (Creative Chaos) and 3:30 (Gaming); see Calendar of Events
Adult Crafts – Programs for patrons over the age of 18 each week, Thursdays at 11am-NOON and 6-7pm.
Family Fun Fridays – Family programs for ALL AGES every Friday at 6:30pm (*Note exception on June 20th)

Tips for Encouraging Reading
- Summer reading should be fun, not a chore!
- Let kids choose their own books to read.
- Don’t worry about reading levels for leisure reading; reading below level increases
fluency & builds confidence! - Audiobooks & graphic novels are real books!
- Illustrated books are for everyone!
- Read together as well as giving them time to read or look at books alone.
- Provide quiet time & a cozy spot for reading.
